ChatTime today announced it is now offering free international calls between users in 52 countries simply by using the company’s free ChatTime app for the iPhone. The app, which uses patent pending technology, lets users make calls without requiring Wi-Fi or 3G on either end.

Called an industry first, ChatTime’s technology relies on a carrier’s own network at both ends to work. However, in this case, there are no carrier International minutes consumed or additional costs, at least in the 52 countries, which we’ve listed below.

Beyond their free calls offer, ChatTime continues to provide low-cost international calls over cellular networks from any country in the world to any phone number in the world without the need for Wi-Fi or 3G.  Rates for these begin at just a few cents per minute or you may signup for one of the company’s unlimited packs that start at just $4.99 per month.
